My son had weekly occupational therapy sessions with Zaza at Creative Therapy for the best part of his time in Reception through to year 3. They worked together on a number of areas including visual perception, gross and fine motor skills and handwriting. The sessions really helped my son to fill gaps in his development, which had been exacerbated by the pandemic. He became stronger in his core and writing became easier for him. It helped that he liked his sessions with Zaza enormously and as well as developmental improvements, they increased his confidence in himself and his writing.

Over the course of the year, Hugo has made so much progress in many areas of executive and physical functioning and has really grown in confidence. The OT he’s received has been invaluable, and we are truly grateful to your team.

Hannah has been absolutely wonderful at building rapport and engaging with our 6 year old. He always thinks of the sessions as games and is motivated to complete them. Hannah sends us weekly updates, so we can keep track of the activities he has been doing and how he has been progressing. We believe the sessions has been beneficial to our son’s development.

My son has been seeing Muzzi and Mel for a year now. We have noticed huge improvements in his core strength and motor skills. He really enjoys the fun sessions and looks forward to them weekly. They are so professional and lovely to work with, providing helpful weekly reports detailing how he’s getting on and what we can do at home to continue their work.

Our child has been in OT Therapy with Creative Therapy, and more specifically with Rebecca for the past 5 months, not counting the summer break in between. From the orientation meeting with Muzzi to today the communication with the team has been very good and we as parents receive weekly feedback on targets and progress against those, as well as recommendations on what to work on at home. One very apparent change in our child was handwriting. At the start of the new school year both teachers and we were positively surprised by the change and improvement on that front as well as on the use of the non-dominant hand, something we were not initially aware was lacking and the team pointed us to that matter. There are few areas Rebecca is working on with our child and we are seeing progress in all of those, she is also adaptive in her style and method to ensure connection with the children is maintained and creates a positive environment. Our child enjoys the session and considers them play time and continues to try and work during the sessions on those targets that are harder for him. The fact that the therapist does come to the school where our child is at is also very convenient and I believe helps children in their progress. We would recommend Creative Therapy.
